Everyman Theatre continues to welcome audiences back to LIVE THEATRE with the second offering in its 31st season, Pearl Cleage’s groundbreaking play FLYIN’ WEST.
Everyman Theatre has launched a new initiative in response to the COVID pandemic with its Virtual Field Trip Program. This initiative bridges the need for compelling and essential stories with the new reality of digital classrooms.
Starting December 11 and through February 4, 2021, a brand-new production of Queens Girl: Black in the Green Mountains, along with previously-recorded productions of Queens Girl in the World (featuring Resident Company Member Dawn Ursula), and Queens Girl in Africa (featuring DC actor Erika Rose), is available to view.

Live theatre returns to the Mid-Atlantic region as Founding Artistic Director Vincent M. Lancisi announces the starting dates for QUEENS GIRL: BLACK IN THE GREEN MOUNTAINS, the first production of its 30th anniversary season. Queens Girl will have its first public performance on November 19, 2020 and will begin to stream online shortly thereafter. Single tickets for QUEENS GIRL go on sale November 9th.
National Endowment for the Arts Acting Chairman Mary Anne Carter has approved more than $80 million in grants as part of the Arts Endowment's second major funding announcement for Fiscal Year 2019. Included in this announcement is an Art Works grant of $10,000 to Everyman Theatre to support the development and production of Caleen Sinnette Jennings's autobiographical play Queens Girl: Black in the Green Mountains, the third installment of her Queens Girl series.
