MEAN GIRLS
"A common staple of Toby’s productions, “Mean Girls” blows you away with the sheer amount of talent it offers." MD THEATER GUIDE
On Wednesdays we wear pink. Mean Girls, the brutally hilarious musical from book writer Tina Fey (30 Rock) is adapted from the hit 2004 film and was nominated for 12 Tony Awards. Cady Heron may have grown up on an African savanna, but nothing prepared her for the wild ways of her strange new home: suburban Illinois. How will she rise to the top of the popularity pecking order? By taking on The Plastics, led by the charming but ruthless Regina George. But Cady learns the hard way that you can’t cross a queen bee without getting stung.
"The performances are flawless in this musical about power plays among teens in high school, and the show is just plain fun to watch." DC Theater Arts
"Toby’s Dinner Theatre truly offers some of the highest-level productions in the area and “Mean Girls” certainly fits the mold." - MD Theatre Guide
