Langston Hughes’ BLACK NATIVITY, directed by Kevin S. Mcallister in collaboration with ArtsCentric, will be presented at Baltimore Center Stage from November 30 to December 22, 2024. This holiday classic blends blues, jazz, and spirituals to retell the Nativity story through an African American lens. The cast features performers including Kymon Carriker, Jhermaine Drakeford, and Davon Fleming, among others. BLACK NATIVITY stands as a powerful celebration of faith and community, originally penned by Hughes during the civil rights movement.
