As a 14 year old youth, Walter was transfixed by his first Broadway Show, the original production of 'GREASE'. His Journey to celebrity photojournalism began that fateful night. Meeting, photographing and getting to know the cast inspired him to spend his professional life doing what he loved. Currently headlining in New Jersey with his partner Richard and family members Dali (Jack Russell) & Gala (Schnoodle). Recently he made his Broadway debut sharing the stage with Hugh Jackman in 'Hugh Jackman on Broadway' as well as receiving the Actors' Equity Association Gypsy Spirit Award. HAPPY 50ish! the new musical comedy, just opened Off Broadway at The Beckett Theatre (410 West 42nd Street) on Theatre Row on Sunday, July 26th. The show, is created byLynn Shore and written by Mr. Shore, Mark Vogel and David Burnham, with direction by Paul Stancato. HAPPY 50ish! will play a limited engagement through August 30.

Darren Criss just concluded his limited 12-week engagement in Broadway's HEDIWG AND THE ANGRY INCH, the Tony Award winning Best Musical Revival, yesterday, July 19. He started performances on April 29 at the Belasco Theatre. As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Taye Diggs will take over the role starting Wednesday, July 22, making his return to Broadway after a decade-long hiatus. Lin-Manuel Miranda's new musical Hamilton began previews at theRichard Rodgers Theatre last night prior to an official opening night on August 6th. As was announced last week, $10 front row seats for the new musical will go on sale by lottery, beginning two and half hours prior to each performance. Patrons may enter their name at the Richard Rodgers Theatre (226 W. 46 St.) for a chance to buy up to two front row tickets for $10 each. The winner's names will be drawn 2 hours before show time. Entrants must present photo ID, and the winners must pay with cash at the box office. Crowds flocked yesterday for a chance to win tickets to the first preview.
