According to the Hollywood Reporter, Miley Cyrus is in talks to lead Craig Zadan and Neil Meron's upcoming Bonnie & Clyde miniseries. Penned by Rice and Batteer, the series will air on the History Channel.

Manhattan Theatre Club's production of a new version of Henrik Ibsen's AN ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE by Rebecca Lenkiewicz, directed by Tony Award winner Doug Hughes opened last night at MTC's Samuel J. According to Deadline.com Andrew Garfield has signed on to appear in the sequel to THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN, which is set to be directed by Marc Webb. Previous co-star Emma Stone is currently in talks to return as 'Gwen Stacy.'

Music legend Aretha Franklin was in attendence at the special launch of Mowtown: The Musical last night at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre, and she told BroadwayWorld exclusively that she'd like to make her way to the Great White Way. When asked by Richard Ridge whether she'd like to come to Broadway, the songstress replied: 'I would love to, sure. I would love to.'

MOTOWN: THE MUSICAL, based on the life of legendary Motown founder Berry Gordy, will open on Broadway at The Lunt-Fontanne Theatre (205 West 46 Street) on April 14, 2013. The Public Theater (Artistic Director Oskar Eustis and Executive Director Patrick Willingham) will begin previews for the world premiere production of WILD WITH HAPPY, written by Colman Domingo, on Tuesday, October 9 in The Public's LuEsther Theater.
