Andrew Lloyd Webber revealed in a recent interview with Scotsman.com that the Australian version of LOVE NEVER DIES will indeed make its way back to the UK. He told Scotsman: 'The Australian production, which was wonderful - the London production wasn't very good, the Australians got it right - is going out next year. The plan is, that will go on the road here, in the autumn of next year.'

The full cast and creative team for the world premiere of Forever Dusty, a new musical about the life and times of legendary icon Dusty Springfield, by Kirsten Holly Smith and Jonathan Vankin, has been announced. Directed by Randal Myler (Love, Janis; It Ain't Nothin' But the Blues), performances will begin November 11, 2012 at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street), with an official Opening Night set for Sunday, November 18, 2012.

He is best known for his leading roles in the original Broadway productions of Oklahoma!; Kiss Me, Kate; Kismet; and for playing Marshall Blackstone in the original production of Babes in Arms, (in which he sang the title song) and Hajj in Kismet, for which he received the Tony Award. His 1964 stage performance as Claudius in the Richard Burton Hamlet was filmed live on the stage of the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. His final stage appearance in a musical was in 1973 as Honore LaChaisse in Lerner and Loewe's Gigi. Two years later he starred in a revival of The Skin of Our Teeth.

Additional Broadway credits include the Roundabout Theatre Company's presentation of the Deaf West Theatre sign-language production of Big River. Second Stage Theatre has canceled five preview performances of Jon Kern's world premiere comedy, Modern Terrorism, Or They Who Want To Kills Us and How We Learn To Love Them, due to actor illness. The canceled previews on Sunday, September 30, Tuesday, October 2, and both previews on Wednesday, October 3 have delayed the opening to Thursday, October 18. The production was originally scheduled to open on Monday, October 15. Ticket holders for all canceled shows are being accommodated on later dates. Previews are scheduled to resume on Thursday, October 4.

Producers Janet B. Rosen and Christina Papagjika will present two invitation-only staged readings of the hit Off-Broadway musical In Transit on Friday, October 12, 2012. Tony Award-winner Christopher Gattelli (Newsies) will direct the reading of the musical that features book, music and lyrics by Kristen Anderson-Lopez, James-Allen Ford, Russell Kaplan and Sara Wordsworth.

Tony nominee Raul Esparza will play the recurring role of "DA Rafael Barba" on Law & Order: SVU beginning on Wednesday, October 10. The episode, titled "Twenty-Five Acts," centers on the author of a best-selling erotic novel (Anna Chlumsky) who accuses a high-profile talk show host (Roger Bart) of rape. The SVU detectives face an uphill battle when they find that her account of the rape is exactly like the chapters in her book, and along with the DA's office (Esparza), they struggle to keep the case from turning into a media circus.

Now according to the New York Times, the United States attorney's office is investigating whether the investor ever existed in the first place. Sprecher told NYT: "I never made up or fabricated any investor, and I never made up Paul Abrams." He also revealed that a new production of Rebecca is in the works that he 'hoped to mount soon, on Broadway or elsewhere.'
