If/Then, the upcoming world premiere musical by the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning creative team behind Next To Normal, Tom Kitt (music), Brian Yorkey (book and lyrics), and Michael Greif (director), will make its world premiere engagement in Washington, D.C., with previews beginning tonight, before moving on to Broadway. If/Then will play Broadway's Richard Rodgers Theatre (226 West 46th Street) in spring 2014, beginning preview performances on March 5, and officially opening on Thursday, March 27, 2014.

On last night's episode of JEOPARDY!, Wicked was featured in a special category comprised entirely of video clues delivered by Broadway cast members filmed onstage at the Gershwin Theatre. This marked the first time that JEOPARDY! has ever devoted an entire category to a Broadway show with members of the cast delivering all of the clues. Today in 2009, Finian's Rainbow opened at the St. James Theatre, where it ran for 92 performances. Finian's Rainbow is a musical with a book by E.Y. Harburg and Fred Saidy, lyrics by Harburg, and music by Burton Lane. The 1947 Broadway production ran for 725 performances. Finian moves to the southern United States (the fictional state of Missitucky is a humorous combination of Mississippi and Kentucky) from Ireland with his daughter Sharon, to bury a stolen pot of gold near Fort Knox, in the mistaken belief that it will grow. A leprechaun follows them, desperate to recover his treasure before the loss of it turns him permanently human. Complications arise when a bigoted and corrupt U.S. Senator gets involved, and when wishes are made inadvertently over the hidden crock.

Broadway veteran and Youtube sensation Todrick Hall just released his newest creation- a spin on CHICAGO's 'Cell Block Tango' that involves Disney's greatest villains. This special Halloween video features the talents of Adam Lambert, Shoshana Bean, Cassie Scerbo, Amber Riley, Blake McGrath, Kimberly Cole and Pia Toscano. Check out the spoof below!

According to the Hollywood Reporter, stage and screen star Ellen Burstyn has signed on to star in Laurie Weltz's Scout, opposite Jane Seymour, India Ennenga, James Frecheville, Onata Aprile, Tim Guinee, Danny Glover and Nikki Reed.

On November 1 (11PM), Natalie Weiss, who will soon be debuting new episodes of her hit web series 'Breaking Down the Riff's' here on BroadwayWorld.com, will make her NYC concert comeback at 54 Below. The National Tour of THE GERSHWINS' PORGY AND BESS, winner of the 2012 Tony Award for Best Musical Revival, will launch at San Francisco's Golden Gate Theatre this November.
