John Rigby studied orchestral conducting at the University of Huddersfield and the Royal Northern College of Music. He holds MMus in Musicology from King's College London where he is currently reading for his PhD. He began his career in musical theatre and has been musical director for a long list of prestigious productions. In Germany, he was musical director for Miss Saigon at the Musical Hall, Stuttgart; andStarlight Express at the Starlighthalle, Bochum. West End credits include:Beautiful and Damned at the Lyric Theatre; The Drowsy Chaperone at the Novello; The King and I and Sinatra at the London Palladium; The Last Empress at the Apollo, Hammersmith; Marguerite at the Theatre Royal Haymarket; Les Miserables at the Palace Theatre; The Phantom of the Opera at Her Majesty's Theatre; Peter Pan and The Pirates of Penzance at the Savoy Theatre; The Producers at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane.

Originally from Southern New Jersey, Julia studied vocally with Melissa Daniels and received ballet training from Andrea Duffin who both gave her the inspiration and courage to pursue her dreams. Ben has has called Chicago his home for the past year and comes to Phantom directly from the Chicago-area Marriott Theatre (South Pacific, Dolly Parton's 9 to 5 and Now and Forever: The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber). Regionally, Ben has appeared at the Milwaukee Repertory Theatre (Willoughby in Sense and Sensibility), Maine State Music Theatre (Fabrizio in The Light in the Piazza) and in several productions at the Utah Shakespeare Festival including Tom in The Glass Menagerie and Leartes in Hamlet. He holds undergraduate degrees in English Literature and Theatre from Denison University and an MFA in Acting from UC Irvine.

Laurence started his career as an actor in which he took part in various plays, musicals and recordings. It was while performing in Les Miserablesthat he was asked to direct his first musical, A Slice of Saturday Night, which played for a one-night charity gala at the Liverpool Empire Theatre. Since then Laurence has worked as resident director on the award-winning production of The King and I at the London Palladium, which went on to a national UK tour that Laurence assisted in the direction of. It was from here that he went on to become the associate director of The Phantom of the Opera at Her Majesty's Theatre, London. Laurence also worked alongside Rupert Goold as the Associate Director of Oliver! at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane. Recent credits include: Jesus Christ Superstar (UK and Australian Arena Tour), the entirely new stage production of The Phantom of the Opera (UK Tour), Oliver! (UK Tour) and the new version of Miss Saigon (UK Tour and Worldwide).

Mark was most recently seen in the world premiere musical of Treasure Island. He has toured the country clad in spandex covering all three fathers in the National Tour of Mamma Mia!and in a pinstriped suit in the National Tour of Guys & Dolls. He has performed in regional theatres across the country in a wide range of roles from Brick in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof to El Gallo in The Fantasticks. Favorite roles include Beast (Beauty and the Beast), Sky (Guys & Dolls), Kent (King Lear), Harold Hill (The Music Man), Higgins (My Fair Lady) and many others, but he doesn't want to bore you.

Happy Birthday Jackie Hoffman! Hoffman was seen on Broadway as Grandma in The Addams Family. Her other Broadway credits include Xanadu and Hairspray (for which she received the Theatre World Award). Off-Broadway she has been seen in Regrets Only, Pride & Joy, Book of Liz (Obie Award), Straightjacket, Incident at Cobbler's Knob, and One Woman Shoe. Regional credits include Second City (Jeff Award), Sisters Rosensweig.

Patrick Stewart, who stars opposite Ian McKellen on Broadway in Harold Pinter's NO MAN'S LAND and Samuel Beckett's WAITING FOR GODOT just visited 'The Daily Show with Jon Stewart', where he addressed a controversy surrounding an Internet photo of him in full lobster garb, and talked 'Waiting for Godot' and 'No Man's Land.'

The New Group launches its 2013-2014 season with the New York premiere of the Geffen Playhouse production of The Jacksonian, by Pulitzer Prize winner Beth Henley. Directed by Tony Award winner Robert Falls, this production features Ed Harris, Glenne Headly, Amy Madigan, Bill Pullman and Juliet Brett. The Doctors (Matt Smith and David Tennant) embark on their greatest adventure across space and time. On the heels of A Midsummer Night's Dream's opening at the Theatre for a New Audience, director Julie Taymor was today introduced into MAKERS, adigital platform developed in partnership by AOL and PBS which aims to be the largest and most dynamic collection of women's stories ever assembled. Internationally acclaimed for her bold and original imagination, Taymor excites audiences and inspires women through her aversion to risk and willingness to break barriers on- and off-Broadway, for which she is being recognized. This ongoing initiative showcases thousands of compelling stories from more than 200 trailblazing women - both known and unknown - who are firsts in their fields, visionary role models or frontline activists who sparked, and some who opposed, change for women.

New York Theatre Workshop presents What's It All About? Bacharach Reimagined, music by Burt Bacharach; lyrics by Hal David and others; musical arrangements by Kyle Riabko; conceived by Kyle Riabko and David Lane Seltzer; directed by Steven Hoggett, beginning performances Tuesday, November 19 at 7pmat NYTW, 79 East 4 Street, between Bowery and Second Avenue. Opening night is set for Thursday, December 5 at pm. What's It All About? is scheduled to run through Sunday, January 5, 2014.
