ShenanArts will hold auditions from its upcoming production of THE OUTSIDERS on Saturday, August 28th from 10AM to 2PM. Idaho Falls Arts Council hosts Battle of the Bands 2010 as part of the Snake River Roaring Youth Jam on August 14th, from 3PM to 10PM at the Civitan's Plaza, on the corner of B and Shoup. As many as 15 bands will compete for their share of over $2000 in prizes. There is a $50 entry fee per band or a $100 business sponsorship. All band members must be 21 or younger. The Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation (SDCF) announces the selection of Morehead State University and University of Nevada Las Vegas as co-winners of the 2010-2011 Guest Artist Initiative Program grants. Each school will receive SDCF funding of $3000 to hire a professional director or choreographer for a mainstage production in early 2011.
