New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) presents What the Constitution Means to Me by two-time Obie Award winner Heidi Schreck (Grand Concourse, 'I Love Dick') and directed by Obie Award winner Oliver Butler (The Amateurs, The Light Years). Originally scheduled to play its final performance on October 21, 2018, What the Constitution Means to Me will now play additional performances through Sunday, October 28, 2018. What the Constitution Means to Me began previews on Wednesday, September 12, 2018, and just opened on September 30 at New York Theatre Workshop (79 E. 4th Street New York, NY 10003).

La Femme Theatre Productions presents the revival of Tennessee William's A Lovely Sunday for Creve Coeur, directed by Austin Pendleton. After staging a string of successful co-productions with top Off-Broadway theater companies, La Femme is thrilled to debut its first solo production. Performance run through October 21, 2018 at the St. Clement's (423 West 46th St). A fitting venue for this production, St. Clement's was founded by Tennessee William's cousin, Reverend Sidney Lanier.  Check out photos from opening night below!

JUDSON ARTS WEDNESDAYS In Association with Carreon Productions, presented the very first New York reading of EYES CLOSED| EARS COVERED by Alex Gwyther. Directed by George Drance SJ, this One-Night-Only special reading took place on Wednesday, August 29, in the The Assembly Hall at Judson Memorial Church. The cast included: Paten Hughes, Tony Macht, Patrick Sawiles Caldwell, Jenna Wyman, Diego Andres Tapia and John Roney.

The Nation), directed by NYTW Usual Suspect and Obie Award winner Lileana Blain-Cruz (Red Speedo; Pipeline).  The play opened just last night, July 30 at New York Theatre Workshop (79 E. 4th Street New York, NY 10003), for a limited run through Sunday, August 12, 2018.

The cast includes Vanessa Aspillaga as 'Kathy,' Mark Blum as 'Jacob,' Jamie Brewer as 'Amy,' Diane Davisas 'Sarah,' Josh McDermitt as 'Bobby' and Debra Monk as 'Maggie.' Amy and the Orphans opened officially last night at the Laura Pels Theatre in the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre (111 West 46th Street). This will be a limited engagement through April 22, 2018.

Previews for AN ORDINARY MUSLIM began on February 7, 2018 with an opening last night at New York Theatre Workshop (79 E. 4th Street New York, NY 10003), now playing through March 25, 2018.

The Public Theater presents the world premiere of KINGS, written by Sarah Burgess and directed by Thomas Kail. Part of The Public's Astor Anniversary Season at their landmark downtown home on Lafayette Street, celebrating 50 years of new work at 425 Lafayette Street and the 50th Anniversary of HAIR, KINGS officially opened last night, February 20 and will now run an additional week through Sunday, April 1.

Due to popular demand, The Left Wing, in association with John Turturro, extends the world premiere production of Brandon Cole's Imperfect Love to February 25. Directed by Michael Di Jiacomo, Imperfect Love is inspired by the tumultuous life of the great Italian actress Eleonora Duse (1858-1924) and her nine-year love affair with the poet and playwright Gabriele D'Annunzio (1863-1938). The production, which is set to open on February 4, runs at The Connelly Theater and features set and costume design by the Academy Award-winning Italian designer Gianni Quaranta (Merchant-Ivory's A Room with a View). Turturro's 1998 film, Illuminata, which was co-written by Cole and Turturro, was based on Cole's Imperfect Love.
