The 19th annual Tribeca Film Festival, presented by AT&T, today announced its 2020 Shorts Program lineup. Setting a record with over 6,100 submissions, the final program roster includes 64 diverse and captivating short films from 20 countries around the globe, and features 46 world premieres, including DreamWorks Animation's new animated short, To Gerard. The short films will be presented in 10 distinct competition programs which include five narrative, four documentary, and one animation program. For the fourth consecutive year, 40 percent of the selections are directed by female filmmakers. Queen Collective by Procter & Gamble in partnership with Queen Latifah, Flavor Unit Entertainment and Tribeca Studios is back, a program dedicated to supporting gender and racial equality behind the camera. The 2020 shorts lineup is programmed by Sharon Badal and Ben Thompson. The 2020 Tribeca Film Festival takes place April 15 - April 26.

Today, The Frights share the music video for “Kicking Cans” via Atwood Magazine. The track appears on their fourth studio album, Everything Seems Like Yesterday, which was released digitally last month. Vinyl and CD of the album is available for pre-order via the band's website and will be in stores everywhere on March 13.

Country crooner James Robert Webb is gearing up to release his newest and best work to date, a self-titled LP, James Robert Webb. Webb worked with GRAMMY award-winning, iconic producer Buddy Cannon (Kenny Chesney, Willie Nelson, Reba McEntire) for his self-titled album. Everything But The Girl's ninth and final studio album Temperamental was first released in September 1999, and is reissued on May 8, 2020 on double vinyl complete with half-speed mastering by Miles Showell at Abbey Road Studios.

GRAMMY® Award-winning artist Hayley Williams has announced her eagerly awaited first solo tour. The “Petals For Armor Tour” officially gets underway on May 13th with a series of European dates, including shows in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany. North American dates begin May 28th at Seattle, WA's Moore Theatre and then travel to Los Angeles, CA's Wiltern on June 1st, Brooklyn, NY's Brooklyn Steel on June 24th, and through to a very special homecoming concert set on June 29th at Nashville, TN's Brooklyn Bowl. Reservoir announces a new partnership with Nashville-based boutique music publisher One Riot, the first and only contemporary publisher dedicated to the Americana and Roots genres, in which the two companies will join forces to sign, develop, and look after the catalogs of songwriters. Together, Reservoir and One Riot announce Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter duo The Secret Sisters as the first signing to this new joint venture. The deal includes future titles written by the sibling team, including their new album Saturn Return, produced by multi-Grammy Award-winner Brandi Carlile.

Today, Austin psychedelic dream-pop band Holy Wave announces a new LP 'Interloper' and shares the lead single 'I'm Not Living in the Past Anymore.' The motorik jam features a meditative chorus and the band's signature psychedelic drone. 'It's basically sort of a mantra,' says the band, 'Repetition is crucial in changing the way you interpret and interact with the world around you.' 

Fresh from releasing the critically acclaimed 'Grime MC' album, BBK don JME is the latest huge act to be announced for Love Saves The Day, bringing his Grime MC FM show to the Crack stage for the very first time in the UK. The legendary MC will be joining an already stellar line-up featuring the likes of Orbital, Krept & Konan, Little Simz, Peggy Gou and many more. Also announced for the main stage is man of the moment DigDat - he joins the festival's multitude of grime talent across the weekend.
