Record Store Day is a worldwide event involving thousands of people and small businesses. In our discussions over the past few weeks, information came and changed daily, and then hourly, along with the news cycle. We've taken all of that information to heart as we've gone over the various options that involved staying the course, moving the date, even changing the structure of the event. At the risk of stating the obvious, no one knows what things will look like in any given place over the next five weeks, but it is imperative that hard decisions for that time period need to be made right now, using current facts. There is no perfect solution. There is no easy answer.

NBCUniversal's Universal Pictures has announced that it will make its current films in theaters available in homes as early as this Friday for on-demand 48-hour rental at the suggested price of $19.99 each, according to Deadline. This includes three films: Blumhouse's The Invisible Man and The Hunt, and Focus Features' Emma. This announcement goes for both domestic and offshore markets where the titles are in release.

The Country Music Association (CMA) is giving $100,000 for tornado relief through The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee's Emergency Response Fund, which supports affected communities and nonprofits helping victims address ongoing needs. The pledge was made Wednesday, March 11 with strong support from the CMA Board on behalf of its membership base.
