The third annual Shubert Foundation High School Theatre Festival for New York City Public Schools just took place at Broadway's Music Box Theatre, hosted by Okieriete 'Oak' Onaodowan. More than 100 talented students from five New York City high schools across the city made their Broadway debuts performing from their selected winter musicals or plays.

The 21st Kids' Night on Broadway took place in New York City, yesterday, February 28th. KIDS' NIGHT ON BROADWAY® is an annual event where kids 18 and under can attend participating Broadway shows for free when accompanied by a full-paying adult. A Kids' Night on Broadway ticket includes restaurant and parking discounts, plus select shows will offer in-theatre activities for kids including post-show talkbacks, Kids' Night on Broadway activity books, and more.

Just last night, Broadway stars gathered at the Edison Ballroom for BROADWAY BELTS FOR PFF!- an evening of music and comedy benefitting the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation. Hosted by the one-and-only actress and comedienne Julie Halston, other participants included Orfeh (LEGALLY BLONDE), Stephanie J. Block (FALSETTOS, THE MYSTERY OF EDWIN DROOD), Mario Cantone ('THE VIEW'), Robert Creighton (CAGNEY), Mandy Gonzalez (HAMILTON, IN THE HEIGHTS), Randy Graff (CITY OF ANGELS, THE BABYLON LINE), Stephanie Mills (THE WIZ), NBC's Gus Rosendale, and Lucas Steele (NATASHA, PIERRE & THE GREAT COMET OF 1812).

Just yesterday, fans joined creator Dave Malloy and members of the cast to sing group chorus sections and to play the show's famous egg shakers for the original Broadway cast recording. In the nearly 4-year-run of the Broadway smash, Matilda the Musical, there have been five sets of Matildas. 19 girls have played the role on Broadway and, for the first time ever, all five 'generations' of Matildas performed together in one exciting concert event at Feinstein's/54 Below. These precocious young ladies performed some of their favorite songs from Broadway and beyond. For four years, they have proven 'even if you're little, you can do a lot.'

Broadway Shines, the organization of Broadway kids serving to mobilize the Broadway community to help children and families in need, just concluded this year's coat drive. Since 2010, the kids of Broadway have been supporting GMA's 'Warm Coats & Warm Hearts' drive. The organization has already collected more than 350 coats for the cause this year and anticipates a donation tally of approximately 400 coats.
