Carolan Trbovich

Carolan Trbovich has been called a modern Renaissance woman, an insatiable learner, and a natural conduit of people, whose career spans the corporate, nonprofit, and entertainment domains.

She is an accomplished entertainment executive, celebrated for her gracious approach to people and processes. Her professional style is defined by her ability to fuse corporate insight with creative vision, sparking innovative solutions across multiple business platforms. While at Nashville's Word Entertainment (Warner Bros. Records) and Sparrow Records (EMI Music Group), she earned a reputation for translating bold concepts into respectful, high-impact action. A trailblazer in the Christian music and book industry, she chaired the National Christian Suppliers Credit Group, where she set new standards for credit reporting and label relations, opening doors for credit/finance managers to participate in sales conferences and conventions.

Carolan later founded Absinthe: A Broadway Cabaret, Tennessee’s first venue of its kind, drawing Broadway talent to the Nashville stage. Over the last ten years, Carolan has continued her work as a theater critic and Nashville’s lead editor for BroadwayWorld New York, where her insightful reviews, entertainment features, and engaging celebrity interviews have brought Nashville’s creative spirit to the national stage.

In the nonprofit sector, Carolan has strengthened donor relations, community engagement, volunteer involvement, and event management. She forged strategic partnerships for faith-based organizations, including Jewish Family and Children’s Services in Sarasota, Florida, and BrightStone in Franklin, Tennessee.

As a business development consultant, Carolan combines trend-savvy marketing with strategic thinking to help clients raise awareness and boost profitability. A sought-after speaker at retail trade shows and performing-arts conventions, she is known for her collaborative style and for leading dynamic think-tank sessions.

With a proven record of innovation in business operations, media management, and community engagement, Carolan continues to shape the entertainment, nonprofit, and performing arts landscapes with originality, grace, and purpose.

Favorite Stories:

  • Oivia Newton-John Meet & Grease, Interview & Book Review - This was one of the longest pieces I have ever written, where I combined a review of a show, a celebrity interview, and a review of a book the celebrity had written. Readers told me it took them down Memory Lane with fond glances back at Olivia's illustrious career. In working on several past projects with Olivia, this article was a tribute to her and a culmination of her influence on my life and career. This was the most emotional article I have written, and it would be the last time I got to see Olivia before she passed away.
