Cameron Ponce

Cameron Reinaldo Ponce is an actor & arguer born and raised in Elkhart, IN, here to fill you in on who and what’s inspiring in the South Bend region. Cameron’s performance experiences have brought him to local audiences in Bristol, Nappanee, Goshen, Elkhart, Mishawaka, and South Bend as an actor and vocalist. His voice can be heard on 88.1 WVPE during the Christmas season and throughout The Heritage Trail’s self-guided driving tour. Nationally, Cameron has competed in vocal and forensic interpretation events held in Washington D.C., Portland OR, Dallas TX, Denver CO, Lincoln NE, and Sarasota, FL.

Cameron holds a Bachelor of General Studies in Arts & Humanities with a minor in Psychology from Indiana University. However, his initial career path was geared toward Elementary & Special Education at the Mennonite institutions of Hesston College & Bethel College located in south-central Kansas. The middle of nine children and a multiethnic American, his appreciation of change and growth is fundamental to contextualizing theater's nature as a passing glance at a paramount artistic process within life’s grander tale of development.
