The New York premiere of PLAY DEAD, a new Off-Broadway thriller co-written and directed by Teller of Penn & Teller and co-written & performed by Todd Robbins, began performances at Off-Broadway's Players Theater 115 MacDougal Street at Minetta Lane on Thursday, October 21 for an open-ended run. The official press opening was Wednesday, November 10.

The world premiere of Randy Newman's 'Harps and Angels' opens at the Center Group/Mark Taper Forum at the Los Angeles Music Center on Sunday, November 21 at 7 p.m. Previews are underway and performances continue through December 22, 2010.

From the producers who presented the critically acclaimed landmark David Cromer production of Thornton Wilder's Our Town, now comes the New York premiere of the new comedy, Mistakes Were Made, by Craig Wright with direction by Dexter Bullard. The two-character play features Academy Award-nominee Michael Shannon as producer Felix Artifex and Mierka Girten as his assistant Esther, with puppetry by Sam Deutsch, and reunites the creative team of the Off-Broadway smash hit Bug Bullard, Shannon and Barrow Street. The 16-week limited engagement began performances November 5, 2010 at the Barrow Street Theatre. Opening night is Sunday evening, November 14, 2010.

Playwrights Horizons opened After the Revolution on November 10, the limited engagement will play through Sunday, November 28 at Playwrights Horizons' Peter Jay Sharp Theater 416 West 42nd Street. AFTER THE REVOLUTION will be the second production of the theater company's 40th Anniversary Season.

The award-winning Billie Holiday Theatre launches its 39th season on October 15, with the world premiere of Jackie Alexander's play Brothers from the Bottom. LCT3's world premiere production of THE COWARD, a new play by Nick Jones, directed by Sam Gold, opens on Monday, November 22 at 6:45 pm at The Duke on 42nd Street, a NEW 42ND STREET® project, 229 W. 42 Street. LCT3 is Lincoln Center Theater's programming initiative devoted to producing the work of new artists and developing new audiences. THE COWARD is the first of three LCT3 productions during its 2010-2011 season.
