Christopher Nolan's neo-noir cult classic Memento will be screened with a live original percussive score composed and performed by Michael "Cavs" Cavanagh, drummer of King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard. Conceived by Hear My Eyes and presented as part of the Melbourne International Film Festival, Cavanagh's percussion-driven score will respond to the film's structure across three music stations. The 2000 film stars Guy Pearce as Leonard, a man with severe memory loss searching for his wife's killer, alongside Carrie-Anne Moss and Joe Pantoliano.
