The 2026 Winter Gala features Australian-American lyric soprano Danielle de Niese in her Melbourne Symphony Orchestra debut, conducted by Chief Conductor Jaime Martín. De Niese performs classic favourites by Leonard Bernstein, George Gershwin, Cole Porter, and Jerome Kern. The orchestral program also includes Bernstein's Symphonic Dances from West Side Story and Alberto Ginastera's Variaciones Concertantes. Performances take place on Thursday 30 July at 7:30pm and Saturday 1 August at 2:00pm.
