Grey Gardens, the Tony Award-winning musical with music by Scott Frankel, lyrics by Michael Korie, and book by Doug Wright, returns to Melbourne for the first time since its 2011 premiere. Helen Dallimore and Deidre Rubenstein star as Big and Little Edith (Edie) Bouvier Beale, the legendary mother-daughter duo made famous by the iconic 1975 documentary. The show draws on the true story of these two relatives of Jackie Kennedy, whose complicated bond and unconventional lives captivated audiences worldwide. This new production is directed by Tyran Parke and presented by Clovelly Fox and fortyfivedownstairs.
