Winner of the 2008 Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award for Best New Play, Tracy Lett’s dark comedy centers around the Weston family, who all come home to the desolate plains of Oklahoma, after their famous poet and patriarch father disappears. Tensions heat up and boil over in the ruthless August heat as the three strong-willed sisters finds themselves holed up with their ferocious and equally strong-willed mother. Bursting with humor, vivacity, and intelligence, August is both complicated and funny, vicious and compassionate, enormous and unstoppable. In Osage County, home is where the heartache is. July 21 – August 13. Thursday - Saturday 8:00 pm. Sunday 3:00 pm.
