Swan Songs' 16th annual gala celebrates 21 years of fulfilling musical last wishes for those with terminal illness or nearing the end of life. The evening includes a cocktail reception, silent auction, seated dinner by Rosemary's Catering, a live auction, and a performance by Ugandan-born Austin-based singer-songwriter Jon Muq. Judy Maggio, former editorial director of news and public affairs at Austin PBS affiliate KLRU-TV, will serve as emcee, with TiWanna "TK" Kenney of Astounding Auctions as auctioneer. Shannon Meroney serves as event chair for the gathering, which honors the musicians who bring comfort and connection to recipients in private homes and care facilities.
