Tyler Mabry is an award-winning composer, music director, and pianist based in Austin, TX, where he holds the position of Education Music Director for the historic Paramount Theater. His short opera, “Ray Bradbury, Age 12, at the Carnival in Waukegan, IL” premiered in 2025 with One Ounce Opera, and was named one of the “Top Ten Shows of 2025” by the Austin Chronicle. Mabry has composed numerous sacred choral works, including three choral anthems published by Hal Leonard. He has been nominated three times for a B. Iden Payne award for Best Original Score, winning in 2017 for the aerial rock spectacle Agent Andromeda. Tyler Mabry holds a Ph.D. in English from the University of Texas at Austin and a B.A. in piano performance from the University of the Ozarks.
