The Ugly Duckling at Gainesville Theatre Alliance

Get your ducks in a row and waddle down to see WonderQuests The Ugly Duckling this September! In this original play, a misfit duckling leaves the nest in search of adventure, family, and their own identity. This show is the world premiere of a brand-new script written by award-winning playwright and WonderQuest Director, Gay H. Hammond. The Ugly Duckling features a diverse flock of feathered, fuzzy, and fun characters.The show performs in Brenau Universitys Historic Pearce Auditorium, 200 Boulevard, Gainesville, at 7:30pm Sep 27 and Oct 4-5, 4:30pm on Sep 28 and 2:30pm on Sep 29. A free Meet-the-Actors reception follows the Sep 27 opening night performance and a free Ice Cream Social follows the Sep 29 performance. Get a peek behind-the-scenes with a free stage tour on Sep 17 at 6:00pm. Tickets are $10-12 for adults and seniors and $7-8 for students and children, depending on seat location.
