New York City welcomes The Best Of Edinburgh, the two top award winning plays from the Edinburgh Fringe, the Largest Arts Festival in the World. This Outstanding Event features: Rosebud: The Lives Of Orson Welles and Sisters, Such Devoted Sisters.

Rosebud: The Lives Of Orson Welles explores the multiple personae of Orson Welles from child prodigy to cultural legend, as the great conjuror revolutionizes Broadway, broadcasting and Hollywood until his Icarus-like fall from grace to frozen-pea salesman. Rosebud is written by Mark Jenkins, Directed by Joshua Richards and starring Christian McKay as Orson Welles.

Sisters, Such Devoted Sisters is an unnerving experience, combining a sickening crime story from Glasgow's gay underworld with a touching comic narrative about a young man creating an unlikely identity for himself. Barr's engaging character, Bernice, introduces her friends and family; a self-combusting grandmother and violent transvestites. The irony of the title grows ever clearer as you watch this riveting play.
