VIDEO: Hear Andrew Barth Feldman Sing 'For Forever' and 'Waving Through a Window'
Last night, NBC's Joe Fryer sat down to interview Andrew Barth Feldman, the new star of Broadway's hit musical "Dear Evan Hansen." At 16-years-old, Feldman is the show's youngest star. Feldman talked about how lucky he feels to be trusted with performing at such a young age, something that has never really been done before.
16-year-old Feldman was asked to audition for "Dear Evan Hansen" after winning Best Actor at the National High School Musical Theatre Awards last year. Until now, the Tony-winning show's lead role had only been played by guys in their 20s.

In addition to winning six Tony awards, Dear Evan Hansen has won numerous other awards, including the 2017 Drama League Award for Outstanding Musical Production and for the off-Broadway production, two Obie Awards, a Drama Desk Award, and two Outer Critics Circle Awards and two Helen Hayes Awards.
