If Brooklyn's own Anthony Ramos hadn't caught the acting bug, the former high school baseball star might now be helping his beloved Mets get back into the pennant race.

But the talented Broadway performer is doing just fine, playing two passionate young men in Lin-Manuel Miranda's revolutionary smash hit, HAMILTON. In the first act he's 18th Century abolitionist John Laurens and after intermission he returns as the title character's eldest son, Philip Hamilton.

But last night, August 7th, Ramos spent the night at The Triad making music with friends, Robert Manganaro and Will Wells. They do it all again tonight at 9:30pm, but first the trio took to social media to offer a preview.

HAMILTON is the acclaimed new musical about the scrappy young immigrant Alexander Hamilton, the $10 Founding Father who forever changed America with his revolutionary ideas and actions. During his life cut too short, he served as George Washington's chief aide, was the first Treasury Secretary, a loving husband and father, despised by his fellow Founding Fathers and shot to death by Aaron Burr in their legendary duel.
