It's the biggest unsolved mystery on Broadway right now...who is the secret pooper?

If you haven't heard about this yet, the first case of mysterious poop appearance was at auditions for the upcoming Magic Mike musical at Pearl Studios at 500 Eighth Ave. on Feb. 26. A similar situation occurred on March 6 at the Ripley-Grier space.

According to the New York Post, those in attendance in both cases were quite confused.

Actress Eunice Bae, who was in attendance during the first incident, said she saw a show rep slip on something on the floor.

"She stopped and said, 'Oh, I just stepped in s-t,'" Bae said. "We all laughed thinking she was using the slang version of s-t to mean general mess, but then we all began to smell it."

Now, Broadway's best have tackled this fecal conundrum in hilarious skits, in which they try to get to the bottom of the mystery.

Josh Lamon, and the cast of The Prom, created a spoof of a number from Into The Woods. The tweet, titled "Into The Poop," has garnered over 7000 views on Twitter.

Another skit, created by actors Andrew Chappelle and Ellyn Marsh, spoofed the dramatic television show Law and Order: Special Victims Unit. "Special Pooping Unit" has gotten plenty of social media attention as well.

Many Broadway and Broadway-adjacent folks have taken to using the hashtag #AskIfShitsEquity, a play on the #AskIfItsEquity campaign, which urged ticket buyers to find out if a show they wanted to see was a union production.

The mystery pooper has not been found but they definitely have Broadway asking...where will he strike next?
