The Avett Brothers To Perform At THE BAYCARE SOUND In Clearwater
The concert will feature special guest The Secret Sisters at Coachman Park.
Four-time GRAMMY Award nominees The Avett Brothers will perform at The BayCare Sound in downtown Clearwater on October 10 at 7 p.m., with special guest The Secret Sisters. The venue is located within Coachman Park. Tickets will go on sale May 8 at 10 a.m.
The Avett Brothers gained wider recognition with their 2009 major-label debut I and Love and You. Their 2012 release The Carpenter reached No. 4 on the Billboard 200, followed by Magpie and the Dandelion in 2013, which debuted at No. 5. Their 2016 album True Sadness debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Albums chart and earned two GRAMMY nominations.
The band was the subject of the 2017 documentary May It Last: A Portrait of The Avett Brothers, co-directed by Judd Apatow and Michael Bonfiglio. In 2019, they released Closer Than Together, featuring the single “High Steppin’,” which reached No. 1 on the Americana Radio Singles chart. The Third Gleam followed in 2020, debuting at No. 1 on multiple Billboard charts, including Americana/Folk Albums and Rock Albums.
In 2024, the band released their self-titled album The Avett Brothers. That same year, Swept Away, a musical inspired by their music, debuted on Broadway. The group has been inducted into the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame and received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Americana Music Association.
Opening the concert, The Secret Sisters—Laura Rogers and Lydia Slagle—have built a following since their 2010 debut with their harmony-driven sound rooted in country and folk. Their most recent album, Mind, Man, Medicine, explores themes of family, resilience, and personal growth.
Tickets start at $49.50 and are available through the Raymond James Central Ticket Office at Ruth Eckerd Hall, by phone at 727-791-7400, or online. The BayCare Sound ticket window will open two hours prior to the performance.
