Friday on Thirteen, THEATER TALK remembers its frequent contributor writer MEL GUSSOW of "The New York Times." We are reairing a discussion from November 2002, when the late cultural reporter and critic appeared on THEATER TALK to discusses his book, "Conversations with Arthur Miller."

This segment is introduced by New York Times' drama critics BEN BRANTLEY and CHARLES ISHERWOOD who discuss Gussow's lengthy career and the profound influence he had on the modern theater.

Also on the program, an encore showing of our May interview with actors SARA RAMIREZ and Christopher Sieber of MONTY PYTHON's SPAMALOT They discuss working with director Mike Nichols to create the Tony Award-Winning Best Musical.
