Wicked alum Adam Lambert returned to the American Idol stage last night, March 10, and sang an acoustic version of 'Aftermath. As previously reported, the sales of the single will benefit the Trevor Project.

Lambert shared, "["Aftermath"]...was written about finding the courage to be honest with yourself and the people who love you. It's about facing adversity and taking risks in the name of personal liberation. The song takes on different meanings to different listeners. I hope this song inspires people to be who they truly want to be... And dance!"

The song will also be made available on his 'Glam Nation Live' CD/DVD, which will be released on March 22. Pre order the live performance at AdamOfficial.com.
