Everyday Rapture plays now through June 10th at Kansas City's Unicorn Theatre, starring Katie Gilchrist as Sherie Rene Scott. The show is directed by Jerry Jay Cranford with musical direction by Jeremy Watson and also features Chioma Anyanwu, Christina Burton and Bryan LaFave. This is the first production in the nation since Sherie premiered the show on Broadway. Watch a video preview with clips from the show and interviews with Gilchrist, Cranford and more below!

A semi-autobiographical stage memoir by Sherie Rene Scott, this is the story of a woman's psycho-sexual-spiritual journey that separates her mostly Mennonite past from her mostly Manhattan future. She travels from Topeka, Kansas to New York City; with a disturbing detour through YouTube. Filled with familiar tunes, this musical follows Sherie's road to Broadway semi-stardom.
