Opening night is Thursday, December 14th for Roundabout Theatre Company's new Broadway production of The Apple Tree, starring Tony Award winner Kristin Chenoweth (Eve, Princess Barbara, Passionella), Brian d'Arcy James (Adam, Sanjar, Flip) and Marc Kudisch (Snake) with Walter Charles (King Arik, Employer, Producer). 

The Apple Tree, with music by Jerry Bock, lyrics by Sheldon Harnick, book by Bock and Harnick with additional book material by Jerome Coopersmith and directed by Gary Griffin, is playing a limited engagement through Sunday, March 11th, 2007 at Studio 54 on Broadway (254 West 54th Street),

"From the songwriting team of She Loves Me and Fiddler on the Roof comes a unique evening of three one-act musicals about men, women and a little thing called temptation," press notes state.  The Apple Tree is based on The Diary of Adam and Eve by Mark Twain; "The Lady or the Tiger?" by Frank R. Stockton; and "Passionella" by Jules Feiffer.

Tickets are available by phone at (212) 719-1300, online at www.roundabouttheatre.org or at the Studio 54 Box Office (254 West 54th Street).  Ticket prices range from $36.25-$111.25.

The Apple Tree will play Tuesday through Saturday evenings at 8:00PM with a Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday matinee at 2:00PM.  The Apple Tree will play early curtains at 7:00 PM from December 26th – January 5th.
