Photos: Doris Dear Celebrates Pride with Postcarding Event
The award-winning entertainer invites fans to join a community Pride postcarding initiative.
This Pride season, multi-award-winning entertainer Doris Dear hosted a truly heartfelt and joyful afternoon at the iconic Stonewall Inn. Doris signed postcards in her signature Doris Dear style, sharing laughs, memories, heartfelt moments, and celebrating the beautiful tradition of human connection. See photos!
Together, attendees wrote and sent postcards that traveled across the globe carrying kindness, encouragement, comfort, laughter, friendship, and hope. A tiny handwritten card had the power to change someone's entire day—perhaps even their life.
There is something magical about receiving real mail. It reminds us that another human being stopped, thought about us, held a pen in their hand, and reached out with love. It feels wonderfully personal—almost like the old days of pen pals, kitchen table conversations, and handwritten notes tucked carefully into drawers to save forever.
The event took place at The Stonewall Inn on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
