Photo Flash: Jersey Boys National Tour Opens in SF

Jersey Boys, the smash Tony Award-winning Broadway musical, has begun its first national tour in San Francisco, opening yesterday at the Curran Theatre. Directed by two-time Tony Award-winner, Des McAnuff, Jersey Boys tells the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons and won the Tony for Best Musical 2006. The national tour stars Erich Bergen (Bob Gaudio), Michael Ingersoll (Nick Massi), Christopher Kale Jones (Frankie Valli), and Deven May (Tommy DeVito).
Jersey Boys features a book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, music by Bob Gaudio, lyrics by Bob Crewe; plus choreography by Sergio Trujillo, scenic design by Klara Zieglerova, costume design by Jess Goldstein, lighting design by Howell Binkley, sound Design by Steve Canyon Kennedy, projection design by Michael Clark, orchestrations by Steve Orich, and music direction, vocal arrangements and incidental music by Ron Melrose.
