Georgia Ensemble Theatre (GET), the professional North Fulton theatre company, will remount its 2017 smash hit, the Tony Award-winning musical, Million Dollar Quartet, at the Conant Performing Arts Center on the campus of Oglethorpe University. Inspired by the famed recording session that brought together rock 'n' roll icons Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins for the first and only time, this production will run December 14, 2018 through January 12, 2019 at a new venue for GET in Brookhaven at Oglethorpe University.

Chris Damiano returns as both Director and Music Director of this fast-paced Broadway musical that serves up all the hits we know and love from this story based on true events. Many cast members from the original GET production will return as well.

Million Dollar Quartet: Book by Floyd Mutrux and Colin Escott; featuring the music of Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins.

On December 4, 1956, history was made when these four young musicians gathered at Sun Records in Memphis for what would be one of the greatest impromptu jam sessions ever. It brings to light the extraordinary story of broken promises, secrets, and the once-in-a-lifetime celebration of four friends that is both poignant and heartwarming. Million Dollar Quartet brings that legendary night to life, featuring a score of rock hits including "Blue Suede Shoes," "Fever," "That's All Right," "Sixteen Tons," "Great Balls of Fire," "Walk the Line," "Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On," "Folsom Prison Blues," "Hound Dog" and more.

This thrilling musical brings you inside the recording studio with four major talents who came together as a red-hot rock 'n' roll band for one unforgettable night. Speaking with Producing Artistic Director Anita Farley about bringing back this production she said, "This show was loved by our audience and was one of our biggest hits ever. I'm so glad to be bringing this back to our current patrons but also to new ones as we partner with Oglethorpe University for the first time. As part of expanding our theatre company, we're excited to work with the Conant Performing Arts Center to offer a fantastic holiday experience with Million Dollar Quartet."

This encore of Million Dollar Quartet will see the return of some of GET's original cast with Chris Damiano (Million Dollar Quartet and Almost Heaven John Denver's America at GET) playing Cash, and Christopher Kent (Million Dollar Quartet and Ring of Fire at GET) as Carl Perkins. Laura Lindahl (Ring of Fire at GET) joins this production as does GET newcomer Sean McGibbon (Million Dollar Quartet at Rocky Mountain Rep) in the role of Jerry Lee Lewis. Other cast members will be announced in the coming weeks.
