At Midnight, on Monday, November 16, Gaylifenyc.org hosted a celebration in honor of the launch of its website www.gaylifenyc.org at Splash Bar in New York City. The website is an informational, health, and entertainment outlet dedicated to newly diagnosed and people living with HIV/AIDS. Broadwayworld.com was there to capture the evening's excitement for you!
The star-studded talent at Monday's event included Tony Winner and current star of Fela! Lillias White, Marty Thomas (Xanadu, The Big Gay Musical), April Nixon (Olivier nominee for Damn Yankees, currently starring in April Nixon is Reborn at The Triad, www.triadnyc.com), and recording star Alyson Williams. The night was hosted by stage and screen star Jack Noseworthy (Surrogates, Under Fire the Musical).Said Gaylifenyc.org founder Mike Cavnaugh, "You have only one chance to launch something new, something incredible, something that will be so valuable to the city's gay community especially those living with HIV and AIDS. This website aims to fulfill that need in our community."
Gaylifenyc.org is a non-profit AIDS Health Resources website with Entertainment News and On The Town updates. It's dedicated to helping people getting around, get through and get over the system that hinders timely assistance for the newly diagnosed & people living with AIDS.
