"ONE SINGULAR SENSATION" - Donna McKechnie May 7 in Port Washington, NY

The Jeanne Rimsky Theater at Landmark on Main Street proudly presents multi-talented singer, dancer and actress Donna McKechnie in her new cabaret act, “Gypsy in My Soul” on Saturday, May 7th at 8:00 PM. Its theme is the musical journey she made to Broadway, the shows she’s toured in, her voyages to international stages and the progress she’s made in her craft.

McKechnie is described as “luminously lovely with red pixie hair, sparkling eyes and shimmering, twirling showgirl presence”. From her “Gotta Lotta Living to Do” number to her plaintive “But Not for Me” she will grab on to your heartstrings and never let go. To see and hear her sing and dance is pure, profound pleasure. Donna McKechnie is known and loved for her warm spontaneous and genuine personality. Her patter is so free and easy, it sometimes seems as if she’s chatting with a living room full of friends. Eric Gwozdz, Ms. McKechnie’s musical director will accompany her at the piano.

The Jeanne Rimsky Theater is a lovely, intimate theater located in the beautiful, historic Landmark on Main Street located within blocks of Port Washington’s harbor and outstanding restaurants. We are located blocks from the LIRR and a 35 minute train ride from Penn Station.
