In the Summer of 2012, the National Youth Music Theatre will be collaborating with the American musical theatre composer, lyricist and playwright, JASON ROBERT BROWN.

NYMT will produce SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD and, under the composer’s direction, will also give the West End première of 13 THE MUSICAL.

Jason Robert Brown will attend the recalls in February and will work with NYMT throughout its residential rehearsals in April and in August.

In addition to 13 and Songs For A New World, NYMT is also producing Howard Goodall's The Dreaming for the International Youth Arts Festival in Kingston. This is NYMT's Founder's Production directed by Jeremy James Taylor OBE. Those auditioning for 13 and Songs For A New World may also be considered for The Dreaming, if they wish. And NYMT will also select a number of other talented young people to work with them in residence in the summer and to perform in a NYMT GALA CONCERT to be given in the West End on Sunday 26 August.
