Have you ever wondered where all the famous, beautiful and talented ballerinas get their starts? One of the largest ballet schools that teach all walks of life how to perform is the Manhattan Youth Ballet located at the Manhattan Movement & Arts Center on the Upper West side.

Founded in 1995 by Rose Caiola, it has become New York's premiere classical ballet academy and performance company. Adhering to a curriculum based upon European methods and pedagogy, it is a place of innovation and opportunity for its dancers. MYB actively participates in a variety of Outreach programs aimed at introducing the Arts to inner-city school children. These programs include such items as performances, lecture demonstrations, and interactive events as part of the agenda.

MYB is the culmination of Rose’s efforts for the past thirteen years to create a viable and curriculum-based ballet academy in the United States. Former students of MYB now dance with American Ballet Theatre,  New York City Ballet, Boston Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Washington Ballet, Netherland Dance Theatre, Ballet de Espana, and Complexion.

Please let me know if you would be interested in talking with Rose Caiola and/or any of the past or present students of Manhattan Youth Ballet and I would be happy to arrange. I look forward to hearing from you!
