Producers Daryl Roth and Hal Luftig have announced today that the hit musical Kinky Boots will donate a portion of all proceeds from tickets sold to the Sunday, June 26th Pride weekend performance to benefit the Our Fund Foundation, which promotes a culture of philanthropy by uniting donors with organizations supporting the LGBT community in Southern Florida, to help the victims and families of the recent Orlando tragedy.

"Like so many others, the entire Kinky Boots family has been deeply affected by the tragic events that occurred in Orlando," said Roth and Luftig. "The message of Kinky Boots is one of acceptance and tolerance."

After the crime against humanity at Pulse nightclub on June 12, Our Fund Foundation responded by establishing an Orlando Fund to support LGBTQ brothers and sisters in Central Florida. The Fund will benefit Orlando's and Central Florida's non-profit agencies that face the daunting task of restoring peace, joy and wellness to Orlando's LGBTQ community and to the greater Central Florida population.

With a Tony Award-winning score by Cyndi Lauper, a book by Tony Award-winner Harvey Fierstein, direction and choreography by Tony Award-winner Jerry Mitchell, Kinky Boots is now in its fourth smash year at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th Street).

Kinky Boots tells the uplifting and heartwarming tale of Charlie Price, a young man reluctantly taking over his family's struggling business. Charlie meets and finds inspiration in Lola and together, the unlikely pair finds that they have more in common than they ever dreamed possible... and discovers that when you change your mind about someone, you can change your whole world. The Grammy Award-winning Original Broadway Cast Recording of Kinky Boots is available on Sony Masterworks Broadway.

In addition to the Broadway and West End productions of Kinky Boots, the show is currently touring the country on its First National Tour. An Australian production is set to open in October 2016 at Her Majesty's Theatre in Melbourne.
