Arkansasmatters.com reports that the national tour of KINKY BOOTS will perform at the Robinson Performance Hall in downtown Little Rock from October 13-15. This smash Broadway hit has run for five fabulous years on Broadway and boasts twelve Tony-nominations and six awards including Best Musical and Best Original Score.

KINKY BOOTS, which first opened it's doors on Broadway in 2013, follows the story of Charlie Price, a struggling shoe factory owner who finds help and strength in Lola, an entertainer in need of new stiletto heels. The two find they have more in common than they originally thought, and prove that you can change your world when you change your mind.

Timothy Ware (Jesus Christ Superstar, Mama Mia! national tours), who was previously the Lola standby, will now take on the role of Lola in the tour. He plays opposite Curt Hansen (Wicked, Next to Normal, Hairspray) as Charlie Price, Rose Hemingway (How To Succeed..., Mama Mia!) as Lauren, Aaron Walpole (Les Miserables, Jesus Christ Superstar) as Don, and Katerina Papacostas (First Date) as Nicola.

With direction and Tony-award winning choreography by Jerry Mitchell (On Your Feet!, Brigadoon), Tony-award winning music and lyrics by Cyndi Lauper, and a book by Harvey Feirstein (Newsies, Casa Valentina), this heartfelt and high spirited musical is not to be missed. The top notch creative team is rounded out with lighting design by Kenneth Posner (On Your Feet! Tuck Everlasting), Tony-award winning orchestrations by Stephen Oreamus (Book of Mormon, High Fidelity), costume design by Gregg Barnes (Something Rotten, Tuck Everlasting), and scenic design by David Rockwell (She Loves Me, On Your Feet!).
