When John Mayer emerged from the underground in 2001 with his debut album, ROOM FOR SQUARES, he was a little known 22 year old with an acoustic guitar and boundless energy. His ascent was rapid powered by non-stop touring and intensive word of mouth, which reached critical mass just as radio and video channels were discovering the young artist. Two years later, ROOM FOR SQUARES is now triple platinum, spawning three hit singles, one of which "Your Body is a Wonderland" earned him a Grammy for best pop vocal performance. John was recently nominated for 2 Grammy Awards for "Song of the Year" and "Best Male Pop Vocalist" at the 47th Annual Grammy Awards in February.

All proceeds to benefit The Actors' Fund Al Hirschfeld Free Health Clinic and MusiCares Foundation. The Actors' Fund of America established the Al Hirschfeld Free Health Clinic to provide free health care to uninsured and underinsured entertainment professionals in the New York City area. Established in 1989 by the Recording Academy (the GRAMMY Awards), MusiCares provides a safety net of critical assistance for music people in times of need, covering a wide range of financial, medical and personal emergencies.
