Jaffrey to Hold Screening of New Royal Ballet's SWAN LAKE

Jaffrey's River Street Theatre (RST) presents The London Royal Ballet's new production of Tchaikovsky's magnificent classical ballet, SWAN LAKE this Sunday, July 15 and Wednesday, July 18.

Composed between 1875-1876 and first produced in 1877 at the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow, SWAN LAKE has captivated audiences for over one hundred and forty years.

The Royal Ballet's Liam Scarlett has created a new production, which remains faithful to the Petipa-Ivanov original but also offers a fresh perspective on this much-loved classical ballet. Scarlett worked in collaboration with his long-term designer John MacFarlane.

We will be presenting the production that was performed live and captured in high definition on 12 June 2018 in London's Covent Garden.

This new production of SWAN LAKE has received accolades from around the globe:

Showtimes for The Royal Ballet's SWAN LAKE are Sunday, July 15 and Wednesday, July 18, both at 2pm.

Tickets for all RST Stage2Screen screenings are $20 each (students and teachers with ID, $15).
