'Making it on Broadway,' a week long intensive theater and theater education series in New York City, has only a few spots left in its exciting summer session. This summer, the prestigious guest teachers include, but are not limited to, Kristin Chenowith (Wicked, Promises, Promises), Kelli O'Hara (South Pacific), Cheyenne Jackson (Finian's Rainbow, Xanadu), Karen Olivo (West Side Story), Tom Kitt (composer, Next to Normal, High Fidelity), and Stephanie Block (9 to 5, Pirate Queen). 'Making it on Broadway' has long been a leader in theater and theater industry education, where students explore the realities of what it means to be a modern Broadway professional based on the book "Making it on Broadway". Participating in classes taught only by Broadway professionals, students have the opportunity to work with and perform for these pros from every aspect of the business including, casting directors, agents, Broadway stars, Tony winners, directors, music directors, conductors, producers, and Broadway composers. Over 10 Different Core Training classes are offered as well as Master Classes every day. A program focused on auditioning skills, each student is guaranteed a private audition for a Broadway casting director and a Broadway agent.
