Harry Potter and the Cursed Child

The Broadway production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child has announced the return of the popular "Friday Forty," where every Friday at 1:00 PM ET the show will release a limited number of $40 tickets for every performance the following week. Entries begin on Monday, November 1st at 12:01 PM ET with the drawing taking place on Friday, November 5th for the next week of performances.

Preview performances for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, which returns to Broadway as a newly staged, single magical experience, start at the Lyric Theatre in New York on Friday, November 12th with the new opening night now set for Tuesday, December 7th .

How to Get Discounted Tickets for Harry Porter on Broadway

"Friday Forty" are only available through TodayTix.com and the TodayTix app, available for download in the App Store and the Google Play store. For more information, visit TodayTix.com. Entries will be accepted via TodayTix each Monday from 12:01 AM ET until Friday 1:00 PM ET for the following week's performances. Winners will be notified between 1:00 PM ET and 5:00 PM ET on Friday.

Winners pay $40 per person and can purchase a maximum of two tickets. Winners can pick-up tickets at the box office on the day of their performance.

To ensure that as many people as possible have the chance to access these low-price tickets, they are only available to buy via the TodayTix.com or the TodayTix App. It is not possible to purchase these tickets in person at the Lyric Theatre or anywhere else.

Regular tickets can be purchased at www.HarryPotterBroadway.com and at the Lyric Theatre Box Office (214 W. 43rd St.) from Monday to Saturday, 10am-6pm.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child originally cast a spell over the world as an epic two-part event. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, the first Harry Potter story to be presented on stage and the world's most awarded new play, has been seen by over 4.5 million people worldwide and holds a record 60 major honors, with nine Laurence Olivier Awards including Best New Play and six Tony Awards including Best New Play.

Based on an original new story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is a play by Jack Thorne, directed by John Tiffany.

The cast of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child includes James Snyder as Harry Potter, Diane Davis as Ginny Potter alongside James Romney as their son Albus Potter; David Abeles as Ron Weasley, Jenny Jules as Hermione Granger and Nadia Brown as their daughter Rose Granger-Weasley; and Aaron Bartz as Draco Malfoy and Brady Dalton Richards as his son Scorpius Malfoy.

The original two-part play recently resumed performances in London at the Palace Theatre, returns in Melbourne at the Princess Theatre on November 18, 2021 and in Hamburg at the Mehr! Theater on December 1, 2021. The newly reimagined single show experience will begin previews in San Francisco at the Curran on January 11, 2022, in Toronto at the Ed Mirvish Theatre on May 31, 2022 and in Tokyo at the TBS Akasaka ACT Theater on July 8, 2022.
