On the Leesh Productions will kick off the North East tour of Julie Tortorici's hit Fringe show BELLY with two NYC performances at Juvie Hall (24 Bond Street @ Lafayette), April 9 & April 16 at 7PM.

Sharp wit, poignant honesty and full of Lysol-laden high jinks, Julie Tortorici's BELLY takes place one afternoon in the life of Frannie, a delightfully disarming, house bound, obsessive –compulsive housewife trotting about through her daily routine who is surprised to find an audience in her living room. Thrust into the role of hostess, Frannie takes her audience on a rollercoaster ride of memories, confessions, hand sanitizer, hostess cupcakes and friendship.

Julie Tortorici (writer/performer) as a performer her NY credits include Museum, Balm in Gilead, and Every Dog. As a producer, and directed she has been involved with From the Minds of Babes, an evening of five original comedic one-acts. She was also seen in Atlantic Theater's children's production of The Phantom Tollbooth. She recently finished a run of her new play, Committed, as well as her film short, Table for Three, (both produced by On the Leesh Productions). She is currently producing the hilarious improv group, Teen Movie High.

Alicia Arinella (director) has worked in various aspects of film and theatrical production. Her credits include: stage management for regional and off-off Broadway theater, publicity and promotional work for Fine Line Features and New Line Cinema, editing and production coordinating for Asset Pictures and cineBlast!, associate producing for Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., Noggin and Granada Kids, and producing projects for Little Airplane Productions, Playhouse Disney, NY Stage and Film and the Naked Angels Theater Company.
