Dallas Theater Center Welcomes Producer Sarahbeth Grossman 2017 Regional Theatre Tony Award Recipient Dallas Theater Center announced that Sarahbeth Grossman will be joining the theater as the full-time Artistic Producer. The producer is a key member of the artistic staff at Dallas Theater Center, overseeing the day-to-day producing of Dallas Theater Center's productions and working collaboratively within the organization and community to achieve both short?term and long?range artistic and institutional goals. An independent Tony Award-nominated producer, Grossman comes from New York City where she has over a dozen theater credits on Broadway, Off-Broadway, national tours, and in the West End.

Grossman's Broadway credits include Indecent, An American in Paris (also National Tour and West End), Dames At Sea, Ann and Stick Fly. She was a producer on From Broadway With Love: A Benefit Concert for Sandy Hook and From Broadway With Love: A Benefit Concert for Orlando. Off-Broadway, Grossman produced the acclaimed comedy The Irish Curse, written by Martin Casella, which is now being licensed across the globe. She also served as executive producer on the New York premiere of playwright Jeffrey Hatcher's Ten Chimneys, and the 60th anniversary revival of A Tree Grows in Brooklyn. Grossman was a dancer with the Washington Ballet prior to earning her theater degree from the UCLA school of Theater, Film and Television. In 2015 she was honored with the school's Distinguished Alumni Award. She is a graduate of the Commercial Theater Institute and holds an MFA in Theater Management from the Yale School of Drama where she served as the Associate Managing Director at Yale Rep. After Yale, she worked with the New York Stage and Film Company to create a Los Angeles based year-round reading series of New Writers/New Works. For LA Stage and Film Company, she also produced the Los Angeles production of Evan Handler's Time on Fire with all proceeds going to cancer research.

Grossman's film credits include the documentary Midsummer at Newtown (Co-Producer), Out To Sea (Associate Producer) starring Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau, indie film Allie & Me (Producer) as well as production work on Paramount's BOPHA! directed by Morgan Freeman, HBO's Strapped directed by Forest Whitaker and Three Wishes directed by Martha Coolidge. She also served as Vice President of Development and Production for Coolidge's Ozma Productions under a television deal with Pearson Entertainment.

Prior to her work on and off Broadway, Grossman was the Executive Director of Global Brand Strategy and Business Development at Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment and Vice President of Marketing Communications at Variety. She is a member of the Producer's Guild of America, Theater Communications Group and the Broadway League where she serves on the Legislative Council and the Associate Member Task force.
