Tony Award-nominee Colm Wilkinson will appear in concert at Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto on Friday, October 28th at 8 PM.

In Some of My Best Friends Are Songs, Wilkinson will perform songs from his recent CD of the same name, as well as numbers from shows in which he has starred, such as Les Miserables and The Phantom of the Opera.  Tracks from the CD include "Red Sails in the Sunset," "Father and Son," and "You Don't Know Me."
 

Wilkinson originated the role of Jean Valjean in both the London and Broadway productions of Les Miserable; he received an Olivier Award nomination and a Tony nomination for his performance.  He also created the role of the Phantom in the Sydmonton workshop of The Phantom of the Opera; he would star in the show in Toronto for four and a half years, and won two Dora Mavor Moore Awards for his performances in the two roles.  A concert and recording artist, he sang the title role(s) in the Highlight album of Frank Wildhorn's Jekyll and Hyde and the many albums on which he has sung include his solos Stage Heroes, as well as Some of My Best Friends Are Songs.
