The Commercial Theater Institute (CTI) recently announced its first new program initiative in 24 years, a six week seminar series focusing on the creative development process for theatrical production.
The series kicks off on November 12, 2007, for six consecutive Monday nights and will feature 4 in-depth case studies presented by the entire production/creative team from recent Broadway plays and musicals.
Students will be taken through a detailed analysis of the many developmental issues and solutions that their production confronted. The seminar series will wrap up with 2 sessions in which participants present their own projects to a Blue Ribbon panel for critique and feedback.

Participation will be limited to 12-15 "advanced" students who have at least some production experience and are currently in the process of developing work for future production.
