CHICAGO's Rumer Willis to Co-Host Upcoming ABC Special SHALL WE DANCE ON ICE

ET reports exclusively that Rumer Willis, currently making her Broadway debut as Roxie Hart in the long-running musical Chicago, will team with Olympic gold medalist Kristi Yamaguchi to co-host ABC's "Paul Mitchell Shall We Dance on Ice."

The special is described as a "star-studded event which will showcase a journey of dance through the ages with both dancing and skating, enhanced by music and special effects to Create an elegant production on the ice." It will feature 2014 Olympic champions Meryl Davis and Charlie White, Tanith Belbin White and Ben Agosto, British champions Sinead and John Kerr, Naomi Lang and Peter Tchernyshev, Penny Coomes and Nick Buckland.

Willis will be taking the place of former DANCING WITH THE STARS pro Maks Chermkovskiy, who will no longer be able to fulfill his hosting duties due to a scheduling conflict.

The show will be filmed at the US Cellular Coliseum on Saturday, December 12th in Bloomington, Illinois. It is scheduled to air on ABC in February 2016.

About Rumer Willlis: Willis began her acting career as a child starring opposite her mother Demi Moore in the films Striptease and Now and Then. Her stage credits include Love, Loss and What I Wore (Off-Broadway); For the Record Live's Dear John Hughes, Baz Luhrmann's DBA and FTR: Tarantino. Her TV credits include "Workaholics," "Pretty Little Liars," "Hawaii 5-0," "Songbyrd" (E! pilot) and more. Her film credits include House Bunny, Sorority Row, Diary of Preston Plummer and more. Rumer is working on her debut album alongside producer Linda Perry. Her band had a nearly 2 year Artist Residency at Hollywood's The Sayer's Club.
